The Polar Equine RS800 is a new generation of wireless heart rate monitors.
The new Polar Equine WearLink transmitter or W.I.N.D., makes recording your horses heart rate even easier. The
electrodes, are sewn into a soft, thin surcingle type belt that can be worn by itself or placed under the saddle. W.I.N.D.
is coded and wireless with 2.4GHz transmission, and is disturbance-free from all other electronic devices
preventing cross talk from other heart rate monitors in group situations.
Built to last, the rigorous standards to
which the Polar Equine WearLink transmitter W.I.N.D. is designed to guarantee maximum quality. The transmitter has a changeable
battery and it delivers up to two years of use exercising 20 hours a week. The transmitter is ECG accurate.
Its longer
transmission range (over 15 feet or 5 meters) allows, for example, the harness driver to monitor the horse’s heart rate
wirelessly from the seat of the sulky.

The new GPS-based Polar Equine RS800 G3 measures
not only heart rate but also speed, distance and altitude simultaneously . The RS 800 with the addition of the G3
GPS sensor produces the most complete heart rate-based training solution for horses. Speed and differences in
altitude can be compared with the horse’s heart rate. With the ability to analyze all the data after your
workout, you'll have a thorough understanding of the horse's workload in training or competition. This newly gained
knowledge can then be used to tailor the horse’s training program in order to cope with the level of exertion and stress
attained during competition.
The Polar Rs800 G3 is the Polar RS800 with the addition of a g3 sensor. Incorporating the
SIRF-III GPS chipset, the sensor provides excellent coverage, fast time to first fix and optimal power consumption. A single
AA battery provides up to 20 hours continual use. Weighing only 80grams (inc. battery) and water resistant to 3 bar, g3 is
extremely compact and built to withstand the harshest conditions of even the most extreme disciplines.
