gradually introduce weight to your horse.
Ideal for starting young horses, the Astride helps make the breaking process
less stressful, offering your horse a chance to slowly adjust to the feel of rider weight during ground work while also improving
his balance and strength.
Racehorse and sporthorse trainers are finding the Astride useful for maintaining and improving
condition when an exercise rider is unavailable, and for bringing horses back after a layup.

The ASTRIDE is proudly manufactured with superior craftsmanship for extra strength and durability and includes a full
satisfaction guarantee and twenty four month warranty for material or manufacturing defects.
The ASTRIDE COMPLETE
includes 14, 8lb. soft lead weight bags, one leather, contoured, padded girth and a custom Wilker's fleece pad. Total weight
120 lbs.

The ASTRIDE LITE, perfect for starting young horses or conditioning yearlings. This model is the
same as the Complete Astride unit only with fewer weight bags: 8, 8lb. weight bags, (total weight 72 lbs.), the custom Wilker's
pad and a leather contoured girth. You may buy additional weights at any time if needed.

These double velcro bags are the same size as our 8 lb. weight bags, you may fill them with steel or lead shot purchased at
your local sporting goods store. Save on shipping too!
This Astride Self-Fill system includes 14, self sealing bags, a double elastic contoured leather
girth and the Wilkers fleece pad. $275 (shipping included)
We occasionally offer functionally sound, but slightly cosmetically blemished units at a discount (usually between
$20-$30. These are available in limited quantities and are covered by our 24 month warranty. Please call for details and availability.
SHIPPING AND SALES TAX:
There is no sales tax on orders outside of Illinois.
Shipping is $40.00 per Astride
Complete anywhere in the USA, the Astride Lite ships for $30.
Allow 3-5 business days to receive your Astride, shipped
by UPS or Fed Ex. The weights will arrive within 5-7 business days via the US Postal Service. Since they are shipped separately,
you may very likely receive one package before the other.
